Use the dyad approach to openly reflect and share your thinking.
Dyad parameters:
Both speakers will have equal time to share.
The person in the "sharing" role can share openly and honestly as the only voice in the conversation.
The person in the "listening" role has one job: listen.
Both participants will practice confidentiality.
Once in your dyad partners, each of you will have one minute to share on the following prompts:
What am I taking with me and what am I leaving from Year 1? (What classroom practice will I continue to implement and why? What practice will I no longer implement?)
What learning from Year 1 do I want to expand on and how will I do so?
How did I contribute to community-building in my cohort and/or classroom last year?
What do I hope to accomplish in Year 2, and what do I need in order to meet my goals for Year 2?
How will I develop community in my cohort and classroom in Year 2?
